Air Force Staff Sgt. Allison C. Martin has received an associate degree in applied science from the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF).
She is the daughter of Serena E. Bennett of Clearwater, Fla., and granddaughter of Thomasine Matthews of Laurel, Del.
Her husband, Alfred, is the son of Patricia A. Martin of Dayton, Ohio.
The worldwide college, headquartered at Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery, Ala., awards job-related associate degrees and other credentialing programs to enlisted airmen to enhance mission readiness and support their performance within their career specialty.
The education program combines technical and professional military education received in the Air Force with general education provided by civilian institutions. Enlisted members are automatically enrolled in the CCAF and begin earning college credit during basic military training.
Martin is a personnel manager assigned to the Headquarters, Air Force Personnel Center at Randolph Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. She has six years of military service.
The sergeant received a bachelor's degree in 2002 from Wayland Baptist University through the military extension program in San Antonio.
