Army National Guard Sgt. Robert T. Houser has departed from Eskan Village, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where the soldier provided force protection for U.S. forces.
The soldier assisted in providing around-the-clock security surveillance, patrols and police support at the Army Forces Central Command-Saudi Arabia site.
The returning reserve component soldier is a member of either the 153rd Military Police Company based in Delaware City, Del., or the 28th Military Police Company based in Pennsylvania.
While at Eskan Village, the soldier performed and accomplished duties of a force protection team member.
Houser is a military policeman team leader and has been in the service for five years.
He is the grandson of Margaret Cook of Pot Nets Creekside, Millsboro, Del.
The sergeant is a 1998 graduate of Sussex Central High School, Georgetown, Del.
