From YourSITE.com Education The Delaware Parent Advisory Council is sponsoring the 26th annual Statewide Parent Training Conference March 6 in at the Delaware Technical & Community College Owens Campus in Georgetown. Families are welcome; there will be workshops for parents as well as children. The theme will be "Entering the Doors to Your Family's Future." Workshop topics will include: Delaware State Testing Program, What is Title 1, NCLB, Special Education, IEP and 504 Law, Parent Involvement, Absent Fathers, AP Classes and College Prep and Delaware Mentoring. The registraion fee is $25; contact your school district office by Feb. 20 to register.
