Lake Forest 49, Indian River 32

The Indians started the New Year with a Henlopen Conference Southern Division loss on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004.

Indian River fell behind 15-5 after one quarter and after settling down in the second period, was outscored 18-8 in the third quarter.

Ravin Robinson paced the Indians with 12 points.

Delmar 37, Indian River 30

The Indians lost to Delmar for the second time this season, this time in the consolation game of the Mardela (Md.) Tournament on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003.

The Indians held Delmar to just two points in the first period but managed only three points themselves. Delmar then took control in the second quarter to lead 14-9 at halftime.

Jessica Hudson led the Indians with 7 points and 11 rebounds.

Woodbridge 37, Indian River 33

The Indians dropped their second consecutive conference game on Friday, Dec. 19, 2003.

Indian River took a 15-10 lead after one quarter but was held to only 2 points in the second quarter and 6 in the third to fall behind Woodbridge 29-23 going into the final period.

Guard Ravin Robinson led the Indians with 10 points. Jessica Hudson contributed 9 points.

Dover 59, Indian River 32

The Indians saw Dover take control of the Henlopen Conference matchup in the second half on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003.

Indian River trailed 24-17 at halftime before Dover took command with a 35-15 advantage in the second half.

Holly Miskin led the Indians with 8 points. Erin Sagers and Stephanie Simms added 7 and 6 points, respectively.

The Indians are now 1-3 in the conference.

Indian River 42, Laurel 25

The Indians jumped out to a big lead and never looked back in a nonconference triumph on Thursday, Dec. 11.

In registering their first win of the year, Indian River took a 20-4 lead over Laurel after one period.

Guard Ravin Robinson sparked the Indians with 17 points. Holly Miskin added 12 more for IR, which rose to 1-2 overall.

Delmar 42, Indian River 41

The Indians dropped their second straight game to start the season as they fell to 0-2 overall with the nonconference loss on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003.

Indian River fell behind Delmar 12-3 after the first period but rebounded with a 16-6 third quarter advantage to lead 31-28 entering the fourth period.

The Indians couldn't hold on to the lead, though, as Delmar outscored them 14-10.

Guard Ravin Robinson led the Indians with 27 points including a three-pointer.

Milford 36, Indian River 33

The Indians started slowly and dropped their season-opener with a non-conference loss to Milford on Friday, Dec. 5, 2003.

Falling behind Milford 14-2 in the first quarter and trailing by 12 entering the fourth quarter, the Indians rallied with 21 points in the final period and pulled as close as two points.

Ravin Robinson led the Indians with 15 points and 5 assists. Jessica Hudson pulled down 6 rebounds for IR.
