2003-04 Delmar Boys' Basketball Schedule

Polytech 71, Delmar 46

The Wildcats took a short-lived lead before falling for the fourth straight time on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004.

Delmar led 8-5 after the first quarter before Polytech took control of the Henlopen Conference contest with a 29-9 advantage in the second period.

Scott Johnson and Brad Brown were in double figures with 11 and 10 points, respectively, while Josh Zdanic added 8 points.

Delmar is now 2-5 overall.

Wicomico (Md.) 94, Delmar 59

The Wildcats lost their third straight game as they dropped their final game in the Salisbury (Md.) Lions Club Tournament on Monday, Dec. 29, 2003.

In falling to 2-4 overall, the Wildcats fell behind 47-30 at halftime before falling completely out of contention with a 26-9 deficit in the third period.

Scott Johnson paced Delmar with 21 points, while Rheinfield added 11 points.

Crisfield (Md.) 74, Delmar 54

The Wildcats fell below .500 with the loss in their opener in the Salisbury (Md.) Lions Club Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003.

The Wildcats scored only 7 points in the first quarter and fell behind 40-21 by halftime in falling to 2-3 overall.

Brad Brown led the way for Delmar with 21 points. Scott Johnson added 12 and Danny Lamb contributed 9.

Milford 65, Delmar 45

The Wildcats struggled early and late in a Henlopen Conference Southern Division loss on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003.

In falling to 2-2 in the division and overall, Delmar was outscored 20-10 in the first quarter and 17-6 in the fourth by Milford.

Danny Lamb and Brad Brown led the Wildcats with 12 points apiece, with Lamb nailing 3 three-pointers. Scott Johnson added 8.

Delmar 46, Woodbridge 39

The Wildcats scored only 16 points in the first half but they clamped down on defense to collect the Henlopen Conference Southern Division win on Friday, Dec. 12, 2003.

Delmar held Woodbridge to just 1 point in the first quarter en route to a 16-8 halftime lead. They padded the lead to double figures with a 19-14 advantage in the third quarter.

Brad Brown sparked Delmar with 13 points, while Collins and Scott Johnson added 9 apiece including a three-pointer each.

Delmar is now 2-1 in the Henlopen South and overall.

Indian River 71, Delmar 31

The Wildcats suffered their first loss of the season to fall to 1-1 in the Henlopen Conference Southern Division and overall.

Delmar fell behind Indian River 20-4 after the first quarter and never recovered.

Danny Lamb and Barry Bratten led the Wildcats with 8 points, while Brad Brown added 6 more.

Delmar 60, Lake Forest 58

The Wildcats opened their season with a stirring Henlopen Conference victory on Friday, Dec. 5, 2003.

Scott Johnson led the way for Delmar with 26 points, including 4 points in overtime. He sank 3 three-pointers, including one in the extra period.

The teams were tied 55-55 at the end of regulation.
