Larry Sturgis sparked the win with 21 points including a three-pointer. David Jurusik added 16 points as IR rose to 2-2 in the conference.

The Indians, now 1-2 in the conference, were led by Larry Sturgis and Brian Bell with 11 and 10 points, respectively.

The Indians suffered their first loss of the season with a Henlopen Conference Southern Division defeat on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003.
The Indians made a valiant comeback in the fourth quarter before falling to 1-1 in the conference and overall.
IR fell behind Laurel 17-6 after the first quarter and 41-30 entering the fourth period.
David Jurusik led the Indians with 15 points. Brian Bell added 11 points and Therman Hagans contributed 8 points and buried a pair of three-pointers.
Indian River 71, Delmar 31
The Indians opened their Henlopen Conference Southern Division season with a bang on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003.
Indian River jumped out to a 20-4 lead over Delmar after one quarter and never looked back, building the lead to 49-19 at halftime and 64-25 after three quarters.
The Indians put four players in double figures, with Brian Bell leading the way with 15 points. Therman Hagans added 13 points including a three-pointer and David Jurusik and Chris contributed 12 points apiece.
