2003 Milford Girls' Basketball Schedule

Woodbridge 49, Milford 48

The Bucs couldn't hold on to a big fourth quarter lead in suffering their second consecutive loss on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004.

Milford led Woodbridge by 8 points entering the fourth quarter of the Henlopen Conference Southern Division contest but was outscored 18-9 in the final period.

Now 2-2 in the conference and 3-3 overall, the Bucs were led by Jamie Bahder's 11 points. Shatera Baynard and Tiffany Sivels each chipped in with 10 points.

Laurel 41, Milford 32

The Bucs suffered their first loss of the season in a Henlopen Conference Southern Division game on Friday, Dec. 19, 2003.

The Bucs battled back after scoring only 5 points in the first quarter but were outscored 13-7 in the third quarter by Laurel as they fell to 3-1 overall.

Deneatra Barkley and Shatera Baynard led the Bucs with 6 points apiece.

Milford 47, Delmar 31

The Bucs remained unbeaten with the victory on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003.

Milford jumped out to a 12-3 lead over Delmar after the first quarter and never looked back in rising to 3-0 overall.

Kourtney Shorts sparked the win with 15 points. Jamie Bahder added 10 points.

Milford 47, Lake Forest 41

The Bucs collected their second victory to open the season as they rose to 2-0 overall with the nonconference win on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003.

Milford scored only 15 points in the first half but outscored Lake Forest 17-10 in the third period to take control.

Jamie Bahder sparked the Bucs with 14 points. Kourtney Short added 12 points, while DeNeatra Barkley contributed 7 points.

Milford 36, Indian River 33

The Bucs opened their season with a strong start that was enough to pull out the non-conference victory on Friday, Dec. 5, 2003.

The Bucs bolted to a 14-2 lead over Indian River behind Jamie Bahder and DeNeatra Barkley. Bahder finished with 16 points, while Barkley added 8.

The Bucs were outscored 21-11 in the fourth quarter but never allowed IR to tie the game or take the lead.
