The Millsboro Police Department was presented with a House of Representatives Tribute by State Rep. John Atkins on Friday, Feb. 20, 2004.

Rep. Atkins said he was moved to make the presentation because he felt the Millsboro PD, like many local police agencies, does not get the recognition it deserves.

The department is responsible for enforcing state and local law in and around the town of 2,400 residents.
