The Golden Knights finished their season with a nonconference loss on Saturday, Oct. 25.
Central tied the game 1-1 on a goal by Kelsie Marvel at the 13:52 mark of the first half, but Wilmington Christian notched the game-winner early in the second half and held on for the victory.
Goalies Katie Day and Amber Ruhl combined on 5 saves for the Knights, who concluded their season with a 4-10-1 record. Central led in shots, 11-8.
Sussex Central 4, Polytech 0
Courtney West scored a pair of goals to lead the Golden Knights' Henlopen Conference win on Friday, Oct. 24.
West scored both of her goals in the first half to stake the Knights to a 2-0 lead, and Sara Lawrence added another by halftime to give Central a 3-0 advantage going into the locker room.
Central outshot Polytech 11-2. Goalie Katie Day got the shutout with 2 saves.
Smyrna 2, Sussex Central 1
The Golden Knights lost the Henlopen Conference game on a penalty stroke with 8 minutes left on Wednesday, Oct. 22.
Central tied the game on a goal by Marvel off an assist from Sara Lawrence in the first half.
The teams tied 15-15 in shots, while Central held a 13-11 edge in penalty corners.
Central goalie Katie Day recorded 12 saves.

Katie Day registered 4 saves in goal. The loss dropped the Knights, who trailed 8-6 in shots, to 4-8-1 overall.
Sussex Central 3, Delmar 1
The Golden Knights knocked off Delmar with a pair of second-half goals in Henlopen Conference play on Friday, Oct. 17.
Candace Shockley scored the game-winner in the second half, while Sara Lawrence contributed the insurance goal.
Shockley also assisted on Courtney West's goal in the first half after Delmar had taken the lead.
Central led 22-6 in shots. Goalie Katie Day got the win in goal with 1 save.
The win improved Central's overall record to 4-7-1.
Sussex Tech 3, Sussex Central 1
The Golden Knights suffered their first loss ever to cross-town rival Sussex Tech in a Henlopen Conference contest on Thurdsay, Oct. 16.
Amber Serman scored the only goal for the Knights, while Katie Day made 7 saves in goal.
Central dropped to 3-7-1 overall with the loss.

The Golden Knights stopped a two-game losing streak with the Henlopen Conference win on Monday, Oct. 13.
Central got its goals from Sara Lawrence and Amber Serman, while goalie Katie Day recorded the shutout with 7 saves.
The teams tied 7-7 in shots, but the Knights led Laurel 18-5 in penalty corners.

The Golden Knights became the latest victims of unbeaten Lake Forest in a Turf Bowl game at the University of Delaware on Sunday, Oct. 12.

The Golden Knights couldn't keep up with their district rivals in a Henlopen Conference loss on Tuesday, Oct. 7.
Central's lone goal came from Sara Lawrence in the first half. Her goal brought the Knights to within 2-1, but Indian River got another goal before halftime and didn't look back.
Goalie Katie Day registered 16 saves for the Knights, who trailed IR 21-2 in shots and 9-3 in penalty corners.

Katie Day had four saves for Central, which trailed 11-7 in shots.
Cape Henlopen 1, Sussex Central 0 (OT)
The Knights suffered their second straight overtime setback with the Henlopen Conference loss on Thursday, Sept. 11.
Now 0-2 in the conference and overall, the Knights managed only 1 shot against Cape Henlopen, which registered 21 shots but could only get the ball past Central goalie Katie Day once.
Day finished with 15 saves. Central trailed in penalty corners, 9-2.
Seaford 2, Sussex Central 1 (OT)
The Golden Knights started their 2003 season in heart-breaking fashion with an overtime loss on Tuesday, Sept. 9.
Candice Shockley tied the game for Central at 1-1 late in the first half. Neither team could score in the second half, but Seaford broke through in the overtime period.
Katie Day had 4 saves in goal for Central, which was outshot by Seaford, 8-7. The Knights held a 10-8 advantage in penalty corners.
