I do recall reading sometime in the last 5 years of at least one local government's members being prosecuted and sued as a corrupt organization under the federal R.I.C.O statutes. So if the feds are looking into any shenanigans in Fenwick Island there could be some real problems for anybody conspiring to coverup any irregularities. (Conspiracy only takes 2 or more people agreeing to do something unlawful no matter how minor). And, the implications of a R.I.C.O. prosecution is not a joking matter.
