Voters in the Town of Fenwick Island have another chance to hear what this year's Candidates for Town Council have to say and ask them questions this coming Friday evening (July 25,2003) at 7:30PM in Town Hall. I am pleased to announce that Senator Bunting and Representative Hocker have agreed to moderate the forum. All of the candidates have been invited to participate.
Please make the voters in Fenwick Island aware of this opportunity.
Voting is your right and a privilege.
Informed voting is your duty.
If you will not be in Town on August 2, 2003 between the hours of 1:00PM and 5:00PM, you can call Town Hall at 1-302-539-3011 during business hours prior to that and request that Donna either Fax or Mail an absentee ballot for each eligible voter. The ballots must be notarized and returned by August 2nd prior to 5:00PM. Per a letter written by Peg Baunchalk, if you FAX your ballot the Notary Seal must be readable to be counted, so it sounds like your notarized vote can be faxxed.
Whether you come Friday night or not, I encourage you to exercise your right to vote on August 2, 2003. Eight candidates are competing for four available positions on Council. Vote for one, two, three or four as you please, but please get out and vote. Thanks!
