More than 700 entrants, including the Cape Henlopen High School Band, Miss Delaware Kama Boland, costume contest entries, fancy cars, politicians, and parade balloons marched down Rehoboth Avenue from the Convention Hall to the boardwalk. Thousands of spectators lined both sides of Rehoboth Avenue in sunny, 70-degree weather. The festival continued on Sunday, Oct. 31. Other events included a 5K Run, a broom-tossing contest, hayrides, crafts, kids games, antique and classic car shows, haunted houses and live entertainment.
