The Buccaneers suffered their first loss to fall to 1-1. Carrie Greer scored Milford's goal on an assist from Andrea Fleming.

The Buccaneers opened their 2000 season with a victory on Andrea Fleming's unassisted goal with 2:14 left in overtime. Milford trailed 1-0 before Katie Washington tied the score in the second half.
