Seaford 3, Cape Henlopen 0

The Blue Jays closed in on the Henlopen Conference title with the shutout. A victory at Dover, the state's third-ranked team, on Tuesday, Oct. 24, would give Seaford the title. Seaford is 11-2 overall. The Blue Jays broke open a 0-0 match at halftime with three second half goals by Anthony Nicoletos, Brian Quattlebaum and A.J. Handy. Brian Byrd assisted on Quattlebaum's goal.

Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000
Seaford 2, Milford 0

The Blue Jays scored two first half goals to overcome the Buccaneers. Both teams had 21 shots, but Nick Dunk and Brian Workman got theirs in the net for Seaford. A.J. Handy recorded the shutout with 15 saves.

Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2000
Sussex Central 2, Seaford 1

The Blue Jays peppered the Knights with 19 shots but could only get one past Sussex Central goalkeeper Mike Dondarski. Steven Saveikis scored the lone goal for Seaford while A.J. Handy registered 8 saves.

Seaford 3, Caesar Rodney 2

The Blue Jays rose to 7-0 with the win over visiting CR. Trey Ramey led the way with two goals. Ryan Workman added the Blue Jays' other goal while Nick Dunk and Ry Culver registered assists. Both teams posted 13 shots on goal. Seaford's A.J. Handy stopped 12 shots in goal.

Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000
Seaford 5, Caravel 1

Seaford controlled play throughout but led only 2-1 with five minutes remaining. The Blue Jays got two goals apiece from Trey Ramey and Ryan Workman and another from Anthony Nicoletos. Seaford outshot Caravel 22-11, with goalie A.J. Handy recording 10 saves.

Seaford 2, Indian River 1

Seaford collected the Henlopen South victory on the second of Nick Dunk's two goals with three minutes left in the game. Dunk scored in the first half to stake the Blue Jays to a 1-0 halftime lead.

Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000
Seaford 5, Smyrna 0

The Blue Jays used two goals apiece from Nick Dunk and Brian Bird to subdue the Eagles in a Henlopen South match. Trey Ramey scored the other goal as Seaford outshot Smyrna 27-7. A.J. Handy and Mike Bleile combined for the shutout in goal.

Thursday, Sept. 14, 2000
Seaford 7, Polytech 0

Trey Ramey and the Blue Jays exploded for the second straight match and have now outscored their first two opponents 17-1. Ramey scored four goals for the second time in as many outings. Nick Dunk scored two more and Steven Saveikis added the final goal. A.J. Handy's seven saves accounted for the shutout in goal. The Blue Jays outshot Polytech 22-7 and held a 7-0 advantage in corner kicks.

Seaford 10, Lake Forest 1

Seaford opened its season with dominating performance in a Henlopen Conference Southern Division match. Trey Ramey's four goals sparked an offensive explosion in which the Blue Jays outshot Lake Forest 3-25. Brian Bird scored two more goals and added an assist for Seaford. The Blue Jays' other goals came from Nick Dunk, Ryan Workman, Josh Harper and Anthony Nicolettos. A.J. Handy and Mike Bleile combined for five saves.
