The Vikings were stunned by five Caesar Rodney touchdowns on CR's first five possessions in the Henlopen Conference Northern Division defeat.

CR scored on four drives and a punt block to go ahead 35-0 before the Vikings even knew what hit them.

Trailing by 35 points with 10 minutes still remaining in the second quarter, the Vikings got their only touchdown on a 77-yard run by tailback Thaddeus Shockley, who side-stepped two Riders and ran over a third on his way to the end zone.

The loss dropped Cape to 0-3 in the Henlopen North and 3-4 overall.

The Vikings host unbeaten Dover on Friday, Nov. 2, at 7:30 p.m. Dover is 8-0 overall and 3-0 in the Henlopen North after beating Milford 35-6 on Oct. 26.
