The Vikings suffered their first shutout loss of the season at the hands of the 3-6 Bucs.

Cape scored two touchdowns but both were called back by penalties. The Vikings were also stopped at the 2-yard line as time expired.

Tailback Thaddeus Shockley led Cape with 83 yards rushing on 20 carries.

The Vikings fell to 0-5 in the Henlopen Conference Northern Division and 3-6 overall.

They conclude their season with a nonconference home game against St. Mark's on Friday, Nov. 16.
