Hodgson 4, Cape Henlopen 1 The Vikings fell behind 4-0 in their season finale. Rob Dorman scored Cape's only goal in the second half of the non-conference match. Cape Henlopen 2, Sussex Tech 1 The Vikings made a 2-0 halftime lead stand up in the Henlopen Conference triumph. Lateef Turral and Chase Korneman scored the goals for Cape, which was outshot 22-8 and trailed 8-1 in corner kicks. Cape Henlopen 2, Seaford 1 The Vikings got a goal and an assist from Sean Donovan to pull out the Henlopen Conference victory. Donovan scored in the first half and then assisted Chase Korneman at the 38:04 mark of the first half for the winning goal. Cape goalkeeper Steve Spence recorded 11 saves. The Vikings outshot Seaford 14-11. Caesar Rodney 3, Cape Henlopen 1 Dan Redard scored the only goal for Cape Henlopen, while goalkeeper Steve Spence recorded 16 saves. The Vikings trailed, 22-3, in shots. Indian River 4, Cape Henlopen 1 The Vikings got a goal from Jonathan Sharp and Steve Spence posted 18 saves in the Henlopen Conference loss. Cape fell to 2-8 overall. Cape Henlopen 5, Polytech 1 The Vikings recorded their first victory of the season with a Henlopen Conference win. Robert Dorman sparked Cape with two goals. Lateef Turral, Roth Karsnitz and Nick Sharp scored the other goals. Goalies Steve Spence and Soren Schwieterka combined for four saves. Cape is now 1-7 overall. Lake Forest 4, Cape Henlopen 1 The Vikings dropped a Henlopen Conference match. Dover 2, Cape Henlopen 0 The Vikings were outshot 14-3 in the loss to the perennial Henlopen Conference powerhouse. St. Thomas More 3, Cape Henlopen 1 Dan Redard scored the only goal for the Vikings, who battled to a scoreless halftime tie but were overwhelmed in the second half. Milford 4, Cape Henlopen 2 Chase Korneman and Lateef Turral scored the Vikings' goals while Pat Kuhn and Steve Spence combined for 12 saves. Sussex Central 3, Cape Henlopen 1 The Vikings dropped a Henlopen Conference Northern Division contest. Lateef Turral scored the lone goal for Cape, which was outshot 23-7. |
