Delmar halfback Sean Hudson picked up where his brother Ian left off during last year's state championship season as he gained 232 yards on 16 carries in the Wildcats' nonconference season-opener.

Hudson scored four touchdowns in the game in his first start at halfback.

Besides Hudson, the Wildcats also got touchdown runs from Sam Warren, Maurice Stewart and Troi Handy. The Wildcats rushed for 353 yards on 31 rushing attempts.

Delmar also struck through the air as tight end Michael Hunt hauled in an 81-yard touchdown pass.

Delmar next travels to Victor Cullen Academy for a 1:30 p.m. nonconference game on Saturday, Sept. 15.
