Milford 13, Dickinson 0 The Milford High School football program finally ended a seven-year season-opening losing skid and gave new head coach Jim Donato a successful debut with a 13-0 nonconference win over host Dickinson on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001. Behind running back R.J. Chandler's 97 yards rushing including a 24-yard toucheown run in the second period. The 160-pound sophomore had more than half of Milford's 192 yards of total offense. Fullback Prince Kemmerlin, who transferred back to Milford after a year at Sussex Tech, scored Milford's other touchdown on a 4-yard run in the fourth quarter. Kemmerlin finished with 48 yards rushing on 13 carries and helped spearhead a defense that held Dickinson to 112 yards of offense. Kemmerlin teamed with Kris Kendzierski on two sacks. Senior lineman Josh Marvel and junior middle linebacker Ryan McNulty had eight tackles apiece and Dorian Youmans recovered a fumble.
