The Bucs held onto the nonconference win after scoring all of their points in the first half.

Milford led 13-6 at halftime on a 1-yard run late in the first half by quarterback Jonathan Webb and a 5-yard touchdown run by fullback Prince Kemmerlin earlier in the half.The Bucs had some anxious moments, though, as Polytech came back in the second half with an 8-yard touchdown run by Heath Melvin and a 63-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Ronnie Chase to Eddie Tilghman.

Both of Polytech's extra point attempts, including a faked extra point kick after pulling within 13-12, failed.

Now 2-2 overall, Milford starts its Henlopen Conference Northern Division schedule with a 7:30 p.m. home game against defending division champion Sussex Central on Friday, Oct. 5.

Sussex Central is unbeaten at 3-0 following a 38-6 victory over Glasgow on Sept. 28.
