The Milford High School football team fell behind 21-0 and never recovered in their Henlopen Conference Northern Division opener.

The Bucs trailed 21-6 at halftime after sophomore defensive back Karol DeVore returned a fumble 22 yards for a touchdown.

But that was as close as Milford would get as the Golden Knights put up 13 more points in the third quarter to lead 34-6 entering the final period.

Sussex Central fullback Orlando Farrow rushed for 218 yards and halfback Jonathan Ricketts added another 105 on the ground.

Milford visits Caesar Rodney in another game against one of the Henlopen North's favorites on Friday, Oct. 12, at 7:30 p.m. Caesar Rodney just got by Sussex Tech 16-14 in its Henlopen North opener on Friday, Oct. 5.
