The Sussex Central High School football team continued its dominating performance in the 2001 season with an impressive victory in its Henlopen Conference Northern Division opener.

Now 4-0 overall, the Golden Knights, behind fullback Orlando Farrow's 218 yards rushing, put the Bucs away early as they bolted to a 21-0 lead before the Bucs scored to make it 21-6 at halftime.

Farrow scored on runs of 29 and 86 yards in the first half, while sophomore running back Will James added a 9-yard scoring jaunt to give the Knights their 21-0 lead.

Milford made it 21-6 at halftime when sophomore defensive back Karol DeVore returned a fumble 22 yards for a touchdown.

Halfback Jonathan Ricketts took over in the second half for the Knights as he scored on a pair of 1-yard touchdown runs on the way to a 106-yard rushing performance.

The Knights host rival Cape Henlopen in a key Henlopen North contest on Friday, Oct. 12, at 7:30 p.m. Cape is 3-1 overall after routing Cambridge (Md.) 35-7 in a nonconference game on Friday, Oct. 5.
