Seaford also lost to St. Elizabeth, which lost to Delmar in last year's Division II state final, 26-0 on Friday, Sept. 28. The Blue Jays led 3-0 on a 41-yard field goal by placekicker Nick Dunk, but Delmar reeled off the next 43 points including a 62-yard touchdown run by Maurice Stewart on a fourth-and-one situation and two touchdown drives launched by recoveries of fumbles on consecutive kickoffs. Seaford, which played the game without starting tailback Aaron White, next visits Lake Forest for a 7:30 p.m. game on Friday, Oct. 12. Lake Forest whipped Indian River 32-6 in its Henlopen South opener on Friday, Oct. 5. ![]()
