Seaford split end Beau MooreThe Blue Jays dropped their second straight game in the Henlopen Conference Southern Division with the loss to their nearby rivals.

The Blue Jays are now 1-3 in the South and 2-5 overall.

The Blue Jays hung tough in the first half as they pulled within 13-10 on a 64-yard pass from quarterback Nick Pegelow to split end Beau Moore.

The Raiders, however, took control of the game just before halftime on a 13-yard pass from quarterback Jamil Young to split end A.J. Neal to start a run of 27 unanswered points.

Seaford scored in the first quarter on a 21-yard field goal by Nick Dunk.

Seaford hosts winless Indian River in a Henlopen South game on Friday, Nov. 2, at 7:30 p.m. The Indians are 0-7 following a 21-20 loss to Polytech on Oct. 26.
