Unlike a week ago, when the Ravens nearly knocked off perennial power Caesar Rodney, the Ravens were never really in the game against Dover. The loss dropped Tech to 4-2 overall and 0-2 in the Henlopen North. Led by running back Pierre Bowers' 206 yards rushing and four touchdowns, the Senators jumped on Tech for a 27-7 halftime lead and never looked back in rising to 1-0 in the North and 6-0 overall. Dover hosts unbeaten Sussex Central in a mid-season North showdown on Friday, Oct. 19, at 7:30 p.m. The Ravens, meanwhile, did come within 14-7 on a 1-yard run by quarterback Marcus Morris in the second quarter but Dover tacked on two more scores before halftime. The Ravens host Cape Henlopen on Friday, Oct. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Cape lost to Sussex Central 22-7 in another game on Friday, Oct. 12, to fall to 3-2 overall. .
