Trudy Drummond and Theresa Correll lifted the Ravens to the win with second half goals. Ashley Holloway earned the shutout with 6 saves. Tech finished its season with a 2-12-1 overall mark and a 1-12 conference record. Polytech 3, Sussex Tech 0 The Ravens dropped the Henlopen Conference match to the Panthers, who had been winless in the conference. Ashley Holloway stopped 9 shots in goal for Tech. Tech trailed 18-6 in shots and 13-3 in penalty corners. Laurel 2, Sussex Tech 0 The Ravens couldn't get a goal in the Henlopen Conference contest. Goalie Ashley Holloway registered 8 saves. Seaford 2, Sussex Tech 0 The Ravens couldn't get on the board in the Henlopen Conference loss. Tech is now 1-6-1 overall. Milford 5, Sussex Tech 1 The Ravens fell to 1-5-1 with the Henlopen Conference loss to the unbeaten Bucs. Megan Correll scored the lone goal for the Ravens. Sussex Tech 12, Delcastle 0 The Ravens got their first win of the season with an offensive explosion led by hat tricks by both Megan Corell and Melissa Morris. The Ravens outshot Delcastle 35-0 as goalie Ashley Holloway recorded the shutout without having to make a save. Shari Benson and Ashley Workman also scored goals while Lauren Humpton added a pair of assists. Caesar Rodney 4, Sussex Tech 0 The Ravens fell to 0-4-1 with the Henlopen Conference loss. Ashley Holloway stopped four shots in goal for Tech, which trailed 15-6 in shots and 12-4 in penalty corners. Delmar 2, Sussex Tech 1 The Ravens took perennial power Delmar to the limit after falling behind 2-0 in the first half. Shari Benson got Tech back into the game with a goal at 3:45 of the first half on an assist from Lauren Humpton. The two teams went scoreless after that, with Tech goalie Ashley Holloway shining with 19 saves. The Ravens, who fell to 0-3-1 overall, posted 10 shots and 9 penalty corners. Sussex Tech 0, Worcester (Md.) 0 Ashley Holloway recorded 4 saves in goal to help the Ravens forge the tie. Tech led 12-5 in shots and 9-7 in penalty corners. Tech is now 0-2-1 overall. Sussex Central 3, Sussex Tech 2 The Ravens played their cross-town rivals tough through the first 30 minutes but succumbed on a goal by Central's Kim Bausch with 9:55 remaining. In falling to 0-2 overall and in the Henlopen Conference, Tech got goals by Melissa Morris at 14:33 of the first half and by Shari Benson at 11:40 of the second half. Morris' goal gave Tech a 1-0 lead and Benson's goal tied the game 2-2 in the second half. Lauren Humpton and Jaime Townsend posted assists on the goals while goalie Ashley Holloway recorded 8 saves. Tech totalled 14 shots and 4 penalty corners. Smyrna 7, Sussex Tech 0 The Ravens trailed just 2-0 at halftime of their season-opener but Smyrna took complete command in the second half.
