The play was set up by a blocked punt by defensive end Bobby James with 41 seconds remaining. It was the second straight week that Passwaters has figured prominently in a last-minute Woodbridge win. On Oct. 12, Passwaters nailed a 30-yard field goal to give the Raiders a 16-13 win over Smyrna. The pass lifted Woodbridge to 2-1 in the South and 4-3 overall. Lake Forest dropped to 1-2 and 2-4. Jamil Young picked off a last-ditch pass attempt by the Spartans to seal the victory and hit A.J. Neal with a 15-yard touchdown pass. Lake Forest's Joe Scott rushed for 131 yards o 34 carries. The Spartans had gone ahead 17-14 with 4:43 left on a 31-yard field goal by Dathan Zabel but after stopping Woodbridge on downs, failed to convert a third-and-seven in the final minute.
