Woodbridge 28, Indian River 14 The Blue Raiders continued their late-season surge to set up a showdown in their regular season finale with Delmar for the Henlopen Conference Southern Division crown next week. Woodbridge rose to 6-3 overall and 4-1 in the Henlopen South with its fourth straight win. The Raiders visit unbeaten Delmar for a 7:30 p.m. contest on Friday, Nov. 16. The winner of that game will capture the Henlopen South championship and the automatic Division II state tournament berth that goes with it. A win is the only way Woodbridge can get into the state tourney for a third straight season. It's the second straight year the division title has come down to the final game between Woodbridge and Delmar. Delmar won last year's regular season finale 27-15 on the way to the Division II state title. The Wildcats also beat the Raiders 33-0 in the first round of the state tournament a week later. Delmar improved to 5-0 in the division and 9-0 overall with a 43-6 thumping of Laurel on Friday, Nov. 9. Laurel handed Woodbridge its only division loss, 8-6, on Oct. 5.
