Lake Forest 3, Woodbridge 1 The Blue Raiders slipped to 3-8 overall as they dropped the Henlopen Conference Southern Division match. Tyler Yerkes scored Woodbridge's goal in the first half. Richard Idler had 10 saves in the net. Woodbridge trailed 15-13 in shots. Dover 7, Woodbridge 0 The Blue Raiders were outshot 25-4 against the Henlopen Conference power. Goalkeeper Richard Idler recorded 18 saves as Woodbridge fell to 3-7. Woodbridge 1, Cape Henlopen 0 Despite being outplayed, the Blue Raiders pulled off a Henlopen Conference victory on a second half goal by Matt Kroeger. Kroeger scored the winner on an assist from Joey Le Blanc at the 27:01 mark of the second half. Goalkeeper Richard Idler came up big at the net with 17 saves to hold off a Cape Henlopen onslaught of 24 shots to Woodbridge's 12. Cape also led 4-3 in corner kicks. Sussex Tech 5, Woodbridge 1 The Blue Raiders tied the match with a goal by Corbin Bean but were then outscored 4-0 in the Henlopen Conference match. Woodbridge was outshot by Sussex Tech 27-19. Tech led 6-1 in corner kicks. Jack Longfellow recorded 15 saves for the Raiders. Caesar Rodney 12, Woodbridge 2 The Blue Raiders surrendered six goals in each half as they were outshot 37-9 in the Henlopen Conference defeat. Corbin Bean and Michelle Williams scored the goals for Woodbridge. Jack Longfellow and Joey LeBlanc each had 5 saves in goal. The two teams tied 1-1 in corner kicks. Indian River 4, Woodbridge 0 The Blue Raiders fell to 1-2 with the Henlopen Conference Southern Division loss. Goalkeeper Jack Longfellow stopped 14 of Indian River's 25 shots. The Raiders managed only 5 shots. |
