Retires Jersey of Luke Pettigout |

GEORGETOWN -- Sussex Central High School retired the No. 90 jersey of former standout lineman Luke Pettigout, now a lineman with the New York Giants of the National Footbal League, during a special ceremony at the school's homecoming game against Sussex Tech on Friday, Nov. 5, 1999. The 6-foot-6, 315-pound offensive lineman attended Notre Dame after graduating from Sussex Central in 1994 and started 8 games for the Giants in his rookie season in 1999. A guard and tackle, Pettigout was rated a first team All-Independent School selection as a senior at Notre Dame by Football News.
