Cape Henlopen 14, Salesianum 8 The Vikings broke open a 4-4 halftime tie with 10 goals in the second half. Joey Cahill posted six goals and four assists to pace the Vikings, who rose to 10-3. Steve Conlon added four goals and Joe Vavala three more. Cape Henlopen 19, Dover 3 The Vikings had no trouble with Dover as Steve Conlon scored 7 goals. In rising to 10-3, the Vikings got 15 of their goals on a combination of scores from Conlon and fellow seniors Steve Welsh and Joey Cahill. Cape Henlopen 15, St. Mark's 3 The Vikings recorded the big nonconference win behind Steve Conlin's five goals and two assists. Cape led 10-1 at halftime. T.R. Marshall and Steve Welsh also had big days with three goals apiece. The Vikings' other goals were scored by Joey Cahill, Rich Benson, Joe Vavala and Zach Plumber. Cape Henlopen 12, St. Andrew's 6 The Vikings rose to 4-1 behind five goals and an assist from Steve Conlon. Steve Welsh added 3 goals and 2 assists, Joe Cahill posted 2 goals and 5 assists, Joe Vavala contributed a pair of goals and one assist, and goalie Steve Spence registered 8 saves.
