Milford 50, Dover 24 The Bucs got 45 free throw attempts and hit 23 to win the Henlopen North battle. Kenya Alexander scored a game-high 13 points for Milford. Nancy Fry and Andrea Harper added 9 points each. Caesar Rodney 68, Milford 51 The Bucs couldn't keep pace with the unbeaten Riders. Katie Washington and Kenya Alexander paced Milford with 1 points apiece. Milford 57, Sussex Tech 53 The Bucs scored a big Henlopen North win behind Katie Washington's team-high 16 points. Nancy Fry and Kenya Alexander contributed 14 and 11 points, respectively. Cape Henlopen 46, Milford 45 The Bucs led 34-32 after three quarters but couldn't hold Cape off in the fourth period of the Henlopen North contest. Kenya Alexander scored a game-high 20 points for the Bucs and hit a three-pointer. Nancy Fry added 10 points. Smyrna 39, Milford 36 The Bucs were led by Kenya Alexander's 14 points in the loss. Nancy Fry scored 9 points for Milford. Seaford 59, Milford 26 The Bucs fell victim to a barrage of three-pointers by the Southern Division leading Blue Jays. Kenya Alexander paced Milford with 14 points. Milford 57, Woodbridge 22 Kenya Alexander scored a season-high 25 points to lead the Bucs past winless Woodbridge. Alexander has been on a tear in the past three games, averaging nearly 21 points a game in that span. Amber Frasier scored 12 points for the Bucs. Indian River 40, Milford 35 The Bucs were led by Kenya Alexander's 16 points. Katie Washington added 8 more points for Milford. A 16-point second period by Indian River spelled the difference. Milford 48, Laurel 46 The Bucs recorded their first conference win on a bank shot by Shameka Piper with 14 seconds remaining. Piper scored all 10 of her points in the fourth period for Milford, which won its third straight game counting victories in the Cambridge-South Dorchester tournament during Christmas break. Milford rallied from an 8-point deficit after three quarters to rise to 3-6 overall and 1-6 in the Henlopen North. Kenya Alexander paced the Bucs with 21 points. Dover 41, Milford 36 The Bucs put up a good fight but remained winless at 0-6 in the Henlopen North and overall. Katie Washington led Milford with 15 points, while Nancy Fry added 11 more. Milford trailed 18-15 at halftime and after scoring only 4 points in the third quarter, put 17 points on the board in the fourth period. Sussex Central 46, Milford 36 The Bucs continued to look for their first win after the Henlopen North defeat. Now 0-4 in the division and overall, Milford was led by Kenya Alexander's 14 points. Sussex Tech 37, Milford 33 The Bucs trailed by 8 points at halftime and while they closed the gap in the second half, they were not able to completely overcome it. Kenya Alexander was Milford's leading scorer with 12 points including a three-pointer. Cape Henlopen 54, Milford 32 The Bucs never got untracked in the Henlopen North contest as they fell behind 17-3 after the first period and 36-10 at halftime. Nancy Fry led Milford with 12 points. The Bucs shot just 8-for-25 from the foul line in falling to 0-2 in the North and overall. Polytech 55, Milford 46 The Bucs dropped their season-opener despite 18 points and 2 three-pointers from Kenya Alexander. The game was close until late in the third quarter, when the Panthers went on a game-clinching run. |
