Glasgow 61, Seaford 57 The Blue Jays finished their regular season at 10-12 overall with the loss in a nonconference game postponed by Thursday's snow. Brent Evans led Seaford with 4 of the Blue Jays' 7 three-pointers and tied Larry Savage for team-high scoring honors with 14 points. Lake Forest 82, Seaford 72 The Blue Jays slipped to 9-10 in the Henlopen South and 10-11 overall with the loss in their conference finale. C.J. Scott poured in a game-high 25 points for Seaford. Brent Evans added 16 points in the loss to the three-time Henlopen South champions. Seaford 72, Smyrna 52 The Blue Jays rose to 8-9 in the Henlopen South and 8-11 overall with the rout. Seaford broke open a 35-29 game at halftime with a 22-7 advantage in the third quarter. C.J. Scott led the victory with 23 points. Darrell Banks added 19 points and sank 3 of the Jays' 5 three-pointers. Seaford 67, Delmar 63 The Blue Jays upset Delmar behind C.J. Scott's team-high 18 points. Brent Evans added 15 points and Larry Savage scored 14 more. Seaford 57, Indian River 52 The Blue Jays posted the win behind Brent Evans and C.J. Scott. Evans scored 17 points while Scott added 15. Larry Savage contributed 10 more for Seaford. Seaford, which nailed 4 three-pointers, took a five-point lead at the end of the first quarter and never relinquished it. Evans and Savage sank 2 three-pointers apiece. William Penn 69, Seaford 60 The Blue Jays fell to 5-11 overall but made a strong second half showing against the state's fourth-ranked team. The Blue Jays trailed 42-26 at halftime but outscored the Colonials 34-27 in the second half. Larry Savage added 18 points and Brent Evans scored 14 more. Sussex Central 75, Seaford 52 The Blue Jays fell to 3-4 in the conference and 3-5 overall with the loss to the Northern Division power. Seaford fell behind 45-24 at halftime and never challenged. C.J. Scott led the Blue Jays with 14 points. Seaford 57, Woodbridge 56 The Blue Jays won on a last-second shot by Brent Evans just after Woodbridge's Doug Avery had given his team a one-point lead with a three-pointer with four seconds remaining. Evans took the ensuing inbounds pass and went the length of the court for the winning points. Evans finished with a team-high 24 points. C.J. Scott added 14 points for Seaford, which rose to 3-3 in the Henlopen South and 3-4 overall. Seaford 61, Laurel 59 The Blue Jays improved to 2-1 in the Henlopen South and overall thanks to an off-balance, buzzer-beating shot from the foul line by Brent Evans. C.J. Scott and Evans scored 14 points apiece for the Blue Jays. Seaford led 15-3 after the first period and hung on at the end against the rival Bulldogs. Laurel actually took a 41-33 lead into the final period but the Blue Jays rallied with 28 fourth quarter points. Seaford 76, Indian River 57 The Blue Jays collected their first win while handing Indian River its first loss. Now 1-1 in the Henlopen Conference Southern Division and overall, Seaford, sparked by C.J. Scott's game-high 23 points, started breaking away from the Indians at the end of the first half. A 12-2 run gave the Blue Jays a 30-21 halftime lead. The Blue Jays continued to build on the lead in the third period and led 50-34 by quarter's end. Brent Evans joined Scott in double figures with 14 points, while Wayne Keaton and Jamar Gamble contributed 9 points apiece. Woodbridge 76, Seaford 64 The Blue Jays dropped their season-opener as they committed three technical fouls in the fourth quarter. Donnell Smack's 16 points led the Blue Jays. C.J.
