Delmar 41, Milford 37 The Bucs suffered their ninth straight loss as they fell to 2-13 overall. Milford gave Delmar a contest to the end, as it cut a six-point halftime deficit to 28-25 going into the fourth quarter. DeNeatra Barkley and Shatera Baynard paced Milford with 9 points apiece. Sussex Central 51, Milford 37 The Bucs scored only 9 points in the first half as they fell to their eighth straight loss. Milford fell behind Sussex Central 26-9 at the half. Tiffany Sivels was the Bucs' leading scorer with 10 points. Lake Forest 49, Milford 41 The Bucs fell slightly behind in the first quarter but were never able to catch up as Lake Forest gradually pulled away in the Henlopen Conference Southern Division contest. DeNeatra Barkley paced the Bucs with 11 points. Tiffany Sivels added 7. Caesar Rodney 56, Milford 30 The Bucs dropped the Henlopen Conference contest to the Northern Division powers. Tiffany Sivels led Milford with 12 points. Dover 45, Milford 26 The Bucs started slowly in the Henlopen Conference loss and didn't fare much better in the second half. Trailing 28-17 at halftime, Milford was held to only 3 points in the third quarter. Amber Frasier led the Bucs with 11 points including a three-pointer. Tiffany Sivels contributed 7 points including a pair of three-pointers. Seaford 63, Milford 26 The Bucs fell behind the defending Henlopen Conference champions early and couldn't catch up. Seaford took a 24-6 lead after one period and expanded it to 44-13 at halftime. The Bucs were led by Tiffany Sivels' career-high 10 points. DeNeatra Barkley chipped in with 7 points. Polytech 45, Milford 16 The Bucs could do little against the Henlopen Conference Northern Division powerhouse. DeNeatra Barkley led Milford with 5 points. Cape Henlopen 35, Milford 26 The Bucs stayed close until the fourth quarter, when they were outscored by Cape Henlopen 16-10. Courtney Short's 7 points led Milford. Sussex Tech 73, Milford 11 The Bucs managed only two points in the first and second quarters and one point in the fourth quarter in one of their lowest scoring outputs ever. Joanna Larimore scored five points for Milford. Sussex Tech took a 39-4 lead at halftime. Milford 38, Woodbridge 26 The Bucs collected their second win of the season with a big fourth quarter in the Henlopen Conference Southern Division contest. Milford took a 25-22 lead over Woodbridge into the fourth period and then put the game away with a 13-4 advantage in the final stanza. Joanna Larrimore and Courtney Short paced the Bucs with 8 points apiece. Shatera Baynard added 7 points. Indian River 38, Milford 31 The Bucs fell to Indian River for the second time this season. Milford was outscored 15-7 in the first period and couldn't recover as it fell to 1-4 in the Henlopen Conference Southern Division. DeNeatra Barkley led Milford with 17 points. Milford 28, Laurel 26 The Bucs picked up their first win of the season to rise to 1-3 in the Henlopen Conference Southern Division and overall. Milford jumped out to a 9-2 lead over Laurel in the first quarter and held on from there. The Bucs were outscored by six points in the second half. Courtney Short and Shatera Baynard paced Milford with 7 points apiece. DeNeatra Barkley added 6 more points. Delmar 52, Milford 23 The Bucs remained winless in the Henlopen Conference Southern Division with the loss to Delmar. Milford is now 0-3 in the conference and overall. Lake Forest 52, Milford 38 The Bucs lost their second straight to open the season. Tiffany Sivels scored 10 points for Milford. DeNeatra Barkley added 9 points. Indian River 46, Milford 26 The Bucs dropped their season-opener in a non-conference game. Milford trailed Indian River 28-11 at halftime and never recovered.
