Laurel 65, Woodbridge 55 The Blue Raiders suffered their fifth straight loss as they fell to the Henlopen Conference Southern Division leaders. Woodbridge trailed Laurel 32-22 at halftime. Lashawn Allen continued his hot scoring streak with a game-high 26 points. T.J. Neal contributed 11 points and Emilio Perry added 9. Smyrna 59, Woodbridge 51 The Blue Raiders lost for the fourth straight time as they lost the lead after the first quarter of the Henlopen Conference Southern Division contest. Woodbridge led 13-9 after the first period but trailed by halftime, 23-21. Lashawn Allen led the Raiders with 18 points. Lake Forest 56, Woodbridge 37 The Blue Raiders fell to their third straight defeat as they were outscored 33-14 in the second half. Leshawn Allen led the Raiders with 14 points. T.J. Neal chipped in with 8 points. Dover 68, Woodbridge 34 The Blue Raiders were no match for one of the Henlopen Conference Northern Division's top teams as they dropped their second straight game. Emilio Perry was Woodbridge's leading scorers with 11 points. Seaford 65, Woodbridge 38 The Blue Raiders fell behind by double digits in the first half of the Henlopen Conference defeat. Woodbridge trailed Seaford 31-18 at halftime and scored only 2 points in the third quarter to fall behind 48-20 entering the final quarter. Leshawn Allen scored a season-high 20 points to account for more than half of the Raiders' point total. Woodbridge 50, Polytech 46 The Blue Raiders registered their second win of the season and ended a six-game losing streak. Brian Walker sparked the win with a season-high 16 points. Leshawn Allen and Emilio Perry contributed 13 and 10 points, respectively. Cape Henlopen 76, Woodbridge 34 The Blue Raiders lost their sixth straight game to remain winless since the holiday break. Woodbridge stayed close in the first quarter but was outscored 24-4 by Cape Henlopen in the second period and never recovered. Brian Walker scored a season-high 10 points to lead the Raiders. Leshawn Allen added 8 points. Sussex Tech 79, Woodbridge 27 The Blue Raiders fell for the fifth straight game after managing only 20 points through the first three quarters. Woodbridge fell behind ,a href="../tech/boyshooprecap.html">Sussex Tech 23-5 after the first quarter and 43-15 at halftime. The Raiders' leading scorers were Leshawn Allen and T.J. Neal with 6 points apiece. Sussex Central 77, Woodbridge 47 The Blue Raiders fell for the fourth straight time with the Henlopen Conference loss. Woodbridge fell behind Sussex Central 31-13 after the first quarter and never recovered. Leshawn Allen led Woodbridge with 14 points. Warren Emory added 12 points. The Raiders are now 1-9 overall. Milford 54, Woodbridge 40 The Blue Raiders lost their third straight in a Henlopen Conference Southern Division defeat. Now 1-8 overall, the Raiders were led by Leshawn Allen's season-high 24 points. Allen has scored in double figures in six straight games. Woodbridge fell behind Milford 18-8 after the first quarter and never recovered. Lake Forest 65, Woodbridge 51 The Blue Raiders suffered their second straight loss after managing only 16 points in the first half. In falling to 1-7 overall with the Henlopen Conference Southern Division defeat, the Raiders fell behind 29-16 at halftime. Leshawn Allen paced the Raiders with 18 points. Caesar Rodney 86, Woodbridge 39 The Raiders continued to seek their first conference win as they dropped the Henlopen Conference contest. Leshawn Allen scored 15 points to lead Woodbridge, which fell to 1-6 overall. Woodbridge 52, New Castle Baptist 19 The Raiders picked up their first win of the season with the nonconference victory in the St. Thomas More tournament. In improving to 1-5 overall, Woodbridge held New Castle Baptist to just 5 points in the first half including 0 in the second period. Woodbridge, meanwhile, scored 32 points in the first half and never looked back. The Raiders were led by T.J. Neal's 16 points and Leshawn Allen's 12 points. Indian River 58, Woodbridge 40 The Raiders were shut down in the second half after holding a one-point halftime lead in the Henlopen Conference Southern Division matchup. Woodbridge led Indian River 27-26 at halftime but were held to only 13 second half points, including just 4 in the third quarter. Emilio Perry and Leshawn Allen paced the Raiders with 13 and 12 points, respectively. Perry drained all three of the Raiders' three-pointers. Laurel 77, Woodbridge 48 The Blue Raiders fell behind early and ran out of gas as they tried to catch up in a loss to the preseason favorites in the Henlopen Conference Southern Division. After falling behind Laurel 37-17 at halftime, the Raiders eventually cut the gap to 10 points in the third quarter, but Laurel pulled away in the fourth period with a 21-11 advantage. Emilio Perry, Leshawn Allen and T.J. Neal scored in double figures for Woodbridge with 15, 12 and 10 points, respectively. Delmar 63, Woodbridge 31 The Blue Raiders never challenged Delmar in the Henlopen Conference Southern Division loss. No Raiders scored in double figures as they trailed 17-9 after one quarter and 38-16 at halftime. T.J. Neal, Brian Walker and Aaron Ross scored 5 points apiece for Woodbridge. Smyrna 70, Woodbridge 44 The Blue Raiders fell behind 43-23 at halftime and never seriously challenged the unbeaten Eagles. Emilio Perry and LaShawn Allen scored 9 points apiece for Woodbridge in the Henlopen Conference Southern Division loss. Shaun Hughes contributed 8 points. Emory and Hughes each sank a pair of three-pointers. |
