Cape Henlopen 40, Indian River 25 The Indians took a 20-0 lead but were outscored 40-5 in the last seven matches. IR got a pin from Curtis Harne at 130, a major decision from Tyrice Knock at 119, and a technical fall from Louis Perez at 140. Tan Giang (103), Quinn Revel (112) and Jeremy Johnson (125) registered decisions. Polytech 36, Indian River 30 The Indians jumped out to an 18-5 lead before the Panthers eventually won the match on a pin at heavyweight. Recording pins for the Indians were Quin Revel at 119, Jeremy Johnson at 125, and Manny Purnell at 189. Smyrna 46, Indian River 18 The Indians jumped out to a 11-0 lead and held leads of 14-12 and 18-14 before Smyrna ripped off wins in the final six matches en route to the 400th victory in the storied program's history. Tyrice Nock registered a technical fall for IR at 103 and Quin Revel followed with a pin at 112. Danny Carroll added a major decision at 140. The Indians fell to 1-3 in the Henlopen South and overall. Laurel 32, Indian River 29 The Indians got off to a fast start by winning five of the first six matches to take a 27-3 lead but saws that evaporate quickly in their Henlopen South opener. Registering pins for IR were Quin Revel at 119, Lewis Perez at 145 and Justin Ehmcke at 160. Tyrice Nock (112) and Curtis Harne (145) had major decisions but a forfeit at 171 proved the difference.
