Friday, Jan. 14, 2000 Sussex Central 52, Smyrna 12 The Golden Knights, ranked 5th in the state, won 8 of the last 10 matches to dispatch of the 10th-ranked Eagles in a battle of Delaware's Top 10 wrestling squads. Jamie Sockriter (103), Kyle Isaacs (119), Corey Strohmeyer (130), Jordan Lowe (135), Jake Booth (189) and heavyweight A.J. Rouillard all recorded pins for Sussex Central, which remained just a half-match behind Caesar Rodney in the Henlopen North at 5-0 in the division and 6-0 overall. James Leyh and Teddy Thompson registered technical falls at 125 and 145, respectively. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2000 Sussex Central 54, Lake Forest 12 The Knights overcame an early deficit with seven pins and a technical fall in the last 8 matches to win going away. In rising to 4-0 in the Henlopen North and 5-0 overall, Sussex Central got pins from James Leyh at 125, Corey Strohmeyer at 130, Joey Walls at 140, Teddy Thompson at 145, Reheim Brunskill at 152, Tyler Dickerson at 160, and Jake Booth at 189. A.J. Rouillard recorded a technical fall at heavyweight and Jamie Sockriter notched a major decision at 103. Friday, Jan. 7, 2000 Sussex Central 44, Milford 7 The Golden Knights, ranked 7th in the state, whipped the 5th-ranked Bucs in a battle of Henlopen powers. Sussex Central rose to 3-0 in the North to remain a half-game behind first place Caesar Rodney in the division standings. Teddy Thompson (145) and Tyler Dickerson (160) registered the only pins for the Knights, but the Knights won 11 of the 13 matches. Wednesday, Dec. 15, 1999 Sussex Central 48, Cape Henlopen 16 The Golden Knights, ranked 8th in the state, rolled over Cape in the Henlopen North opener with six pins as coach Phil Shultie started his 24th season. Jamie Sockriter (103), Corey Strohmeyer (130), Raheim Brunskill (145), Teddy Thompson (152), Eric Hopkins (160) and heavyweight A.J.
