 Dewey Beach Delaware has long been a summer hangout for college age kids with its exciting nightlife, an image the town's 2,000 property owners and 228 year-round residents have been trying to tone down in recent years.
Sandwiched between the Atlantic Ocean and Rehoboth Bay, Dewey is a haven for skimboarding, sailboarding, sailing, kayaking, and boating.
The town, incorporated in 1981, virtually shuts down in the off-season but it still hosts numerous events in spring, summer and fall.
