 Millville sits on Route 26 just three miles from Bethany Beach.
A small town of 206, Millville is largely a bedroom community for nearby towns, although a growing number of businesses, including large chain grocery stores, are serving nearby communities and Route 26 beach traffic from Millville locations.
The town expects to receive public sewer from Sussex County by 2008.
The town's pride and joy, the Millville Volunteer Fire Co., serves not only Millville but other area communities, as well.
The town government is also growing as its town council has approved a dramatic expansion of its town hall.
