 South Bethany Delaware is one of the "Quiet Resorts" along with Fenwick Island and Bethany Beach.
A popular summer tourist destination incorporated in 1969, South Bethany's year-round population is only 186.
South Bethany is almost like two different towns. Split down the middle by Route 1, oceanfront homes teeter in front of the dunes on the ocean side while canal front homes offer boaters access to the Assawoman Bay and wooded lots provide shade on the other side.
